Eur Ing Thomas Bedford B.Sc., C.Eng., F.I.Struct.E., M.I.C.E graduated from Brighton Polytechnic and is a Chartered Engineer.  After graduation he worked with Sir Alexander Gibb and Partners, C. Whitham and Partners, T. F. Burns and Partners and Taylor Woodrow Construction Ltd. 

He became an Associate Partner with Leonard Knott and Associates in Worthing in 1979 before establishing his own practice in 1984 and subsequently forming the Partnership with David Eccles in 1986.

He became a Director of BEP Consulting Engineers after Incorporation in April, 2003 and subsequently BBP Consulting Engineers.  He is also an occasional tutor at the School of Architecture at Brighton University.
